Each year, the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) run a competition for people to submit essays on a particular topic. This year, the topic is ‘overcoming the challenges of getting around with a rheumatic or musculoskeletal disease’. If you would be interested in submitting an essay on your experiences in this area, please follow the links below for more information. The deadline for submissions is 31st December 2011. The prize is €2000, and EULAR will also provide the winner with travel to Berlin and hotel accommodation in Berlin for up to 4 nights as well as an invitation to attend the opening ceremony and the gala dinner at the Congress.

Hi Sheila,

If you don't think you would be able to make the conference yourself (and I am confident that they will make appropriate traval & accomodation bookings for your specific needs), then I suppose you could send somebody out there in your place and just keep the cash for yourself?
